Newspaper comparison

The Guardian has a Live news stream on their website which updates regularly. An example of this is evident on the printscreens above. We can see that the gap between updates were 10 mins apart. This proves that users can access the news whilst getting regular updates. The Daily Mail does not have this feature meaning their news isn't updated as regularly as The Guardians

The storm eleanor: power cuts and 100 mph gusts- live updates incorporates a video clip which demonstrates the chaotic winds that impacted the area.  This is shown in print screen one.  Furthermore, the audience has the opportunity to reply to the story via facebook, twitter and gmail. This is shown in the following print screens above.

The above picture clearly shows that the guardian news app is available on mobile phones. This allows users availability to access the news on the go

The archive facility shows old issues which have been demonstrated on the guardian and the daily mail. The daily mail is better and highly organised as it consists of all the old news and their dates. This is shown in the following print screens above.
